Excessive sitting down and prolonged exposure to the computer can massively drain your energy. That’s why it’s vital to stand up and stretch every once in a while. Even better, by doing something new, fun, engaging, you are not only making your body feel better, you also help your brain become healthier!
How? Well, here’s a fun, new twist to your stretches, the Arms Gone Wild! Activity. All you need is an ample space for you to move your arms around while standing up.
While you’re standing up, count from numbers one to six as you raise your left hand up and down on each number, respectively. Meanwhile, on your right hand, the movement changes, adding another step which is to put your right arm in front of you. Now, for the real challenge! Count from one to six simultaneously using both arms. Ready?
Not only is this activity going to give you a good stretch, it also fires up your brain cells in a guaranteed fun way.
